From the earliest school days, through University into the various calling during his 27 year long career, “Dr. Zac” has shown himself a worthy scientist, with intellectual stretch. An Organisation Development Consultant, Counsellor, Theologian, and Human Resource Development expert, Zac has demonstrated rare leadership qualities with broad knowledge. Long before he was installed as Assistant Bishop of Kampala Diocese in Uganda, Bishop Zac was internationally renowned for natural leadership talent

He regularly speaks at conferences and churches in Africa, Europe and the Americas. He has written widely on theology, leadership and missions. He has also been instrumental in the founding of many organizations and ministries, including: the Evangelical Fellowship of Uganda, Kampala Evangelical School of Theology (KEST), ACLAIM Africa (a leading leadership and management consulting firm) and Relate Communications, the publishers of Relate magazine. He is also a marriage and family life counselor. At the heart of his life and work is a passion for God’s Kingdom and God’s Mission.

Bishop Zac holds an honours degree in Physics from Makerere University, Uganda, a Master’s degree from Wheaton College, USA, and a phD in Theology and Mission History from Edinburgh University.

Bishop Zac has the rare ability to merge his scientific background as a physicist, with management expertise and theological conviction. He has previously served as Africa Regional Director of the UK based Church Mission Society (CMS).
